Search and recovery
Small vessel recoveries are carried out by slinging the vessel with lifting bags.
Once at the surface, depending on the situation, the vessel is either emptied and refloated or secured with lifting bags and towed to the nearest shipyard for hauling.
In the recovery of large vessels, we utilize the assistance of pontoons or self-propelled cranes depending on the intervention locations.
Our operators meticulously inspect the hull to identify any potential leaks. Once identified, the leaks are sealed, and lifting straps are positioned for the hoisting. Once the vessel is brought to the surface, pumps are positioned to empty it.
Sub Genova Srl also specializes in the search and recovery of anchors or structures of any kind.
The search is conducted using state-of-the-art equipment installed on our vessel and an underwater ROV capable of reaching depths of up to 70 meters.
After locating the object, we handle the recovery using lifting bags or, alternatively, a floating pontoon and crane.
